In recent years, "McDonaldization" is the prevalent phenomenon in the world, because most of industries anticipate everything can be controlled easily, outcome can be predictable, and operating procedure can be efficientcy. People just wanna have a short cut to complete the traditional routine. However, the quality of our life is going to wash away. In my daily life, I don't expect some of Holliywood heroism movies which is easy to predict the outcome. It didn't give me something surprising! I guess the director just wanna imitate the original pattern without creating.
In my opinion, "McDonalization" phonemenon has its pro and con depend on personal feeling. Some people pursue quantity rather than quality, wheareas, some people think quality of life is prime. Therefore, it's not easy to judge it. I prefer life quality more.

It cannot be denied that it is a surprise for them because it 's difference from traditional Eastern food. They like the western style food and the restaurant. Children play indoors while the parents take a breath eating fast food. They enjoy the bright color and leisure atmosphere there.

The food culture of McDonald's has sucessfully invaded and changed the diet habit in Taiwan and other countries.
From the viewpoint of the business , the personnel management of McDonald's is an SOP ( Standard Operattion Procedure ) system which is a fast and efficient marketing method; however, this kind of personnel mangement is also been criticized because it's all about business discipline.
As to the food of McDonald's , it looks delicious but unhealthy according to the survey indicates the more food you eat at Macdonld's ,the higher chance to get cancer or other obese diseases.
It would be a serious impact not only the individual but all the soceity , if people continue ignoring the influence of McDonald's fast food ; especially for the new generation because they are used to eating food at McDonald's and the weight of the children are almost overweight.
How to solve this problem? It depends on what your understanding about McDonald's Fast Food.
For someone, it would be not a big deal but it could be serious for me.
Once your diet habit is formed and it's hard to change.

We can not deny that McDonalds is the most famous and popular fast food restaurant around the world. Wherever we travel around countries, McDonalds is always there and its look and food tasting are almost the same. It is so called “McDonaldization”.
“McDonaldization” represents the western culture that invades other cultures. It goes deep into other cultures with strong influence; people eat the food and are affected by McDonaldization invisiblely. We live in the global village, every country has its own culture, and therefore we should respect other cultures and keep the diversity and difference of human being.

The globalization of the language English in the 21st century remains definitely undeniable. I would like to draw an analogy between global English and MacDonald's. Both of them share a common feature - being global. We all know that MacDonald's strives to make an investigation on cultural eating habits and then to make product modification accordingly in order to cater to the flavor of local people around the world. For example, the hamburges taste much saltier in the Western countries, such as America and Canada; spicier in Southeastern countries, such as Thailand and Malaysia; soy-suace-flavor in Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Product modification made for local needs constitutes MacDonald's success. The same theory goes to English teaching and learning worldwide.
Cultural awareness and consideration is one of the key elements in a successful practice of English teaching and material designing. English teaching materials based on Taiwan culture and international orientation are still scarce. Our local authority of education has to balance the ratio of contents originating from hegemonic cultures in textbooks. Since people who speak English alongside other languages will outnumber first language speakers, contents concerning the 'outer-circle' cultures and Taiwanese local culture should be arranged proportionally.

McDonalidization make a orderliness rules of its business culture, all prodcuts are made by regularly process. I can not image that if i am an employee of McDonalidization, i do not like working as a machine, because this kind of skill is boring and useless for myself. I can not write some thing like "i'd worked in McDonalization and my job is doing the routine work just like a machine" in my resume, right? But if i am the boss of McDonalization, i wil still use machine and standard procedual to make sure that all products have the same quality. Coz it is easy to predict the outcome. Does McDonaldization equal to Rationalization?? After reading all the paragraphs, the answer of my opinion seems positive. Taking a view around us, who is not live under McDonaldization. Briefly, who can live without McDonaldization. McDonaldization is a creature that exist in our daily life. It is what we created, but now, we are under its control. Most of people think things that most people do is rational despite it is wrong. That is McDonaldization brings rationalization.
In this society, McDonaldization has brought a negative affection to our generation. For instance, when most children feel hungry, the first kind of food which flash through their brands is usually hambergur, french fries, coke, and so on. They seldom think something healthy. The most important reason is our children can always see a big and yellow "M" in several miles away. The western cultural, McDonaldization, will represent our culture little by little. In my point of view, every aspect of how we live is like living in a McDonalds’ world, we were born into a society and programmed to expect things in a certain way. Most people are on a very demanding schedule and need to go from point A to B without any difficulty. Therefore, we expect efficiency and this is why the efficiency of fast food enters our lives. Moreover, we also expect predictability in our lives. When we go from one place to another, we want to know what to expect. In a certain extent, we don’t like surprises. we like things to be the same over and over again. In George Ritzer’s point, he wants people to be creative rather than having constrained. However, human kind is being shaped and molded by society. We observe what is happening around us and assume that is just the way it is. Therefore, I think McDonalds is a smart company due to finding people’s behavior and their needs.

After reading this article, in my opinion, the advantages of McDonaldization sitll more than its disadvantages. Even though there are Mcdonalds all around the world, which may lose the idiosyncrasies of the country, but at least travelers do not have to worry about what to eat. Travelers can avoid spenting a lot of money eating the food they do not like. Besides, Mcdonalds now have provided different countries with different food, so when traveling abroad, travelers can choose the food that other countries do not have.

Macdonaldization is not a new term, instead, it would be a word which stands for efficient, standard, and consistent. SOP(Standard Operation Procedure) is focused by every company and governments. Nobody can deny the benefits that Macdonaldization brings; however, it is not suitable for every industry or works. The concept of Macdonaldization is good, but it just suitable for the jobs or works which not concerned about humanity and creativity, such as the car factory, mechanic, or the solders. These jobs do not need changes and all they have to do is to make sure consistence. The problem is, the creativity, innovation, and personalized is not included in the principles of Macdonaldization. Therefore, it hardly to get something different or even the product by the customers own choices. The reason for the popular of Macdonaldization is about Capitalism. Every industry or store needs to broaden their business map, so more and more branches are opened. To make sure the same quality, Macdonaldization is the fundamental principle. However, on the road to become a part of the globalization in a capitalized society, the nature of each unique human being, the difference, and the individualism should also be emphasized.

After I read all the articles, I think McDonaldization is good for some people. Under the McDonaldization, all the product were made by regular and standard process so that some people who do not get the higher education or disabled is easier to learn and control. Besides, it is significant for those people because they still need to work for living.

In short, I think McDonald's brings different dietetic style as well as cultural invasion. Maybe, some are positive but some are not. Anyway, in this diversiform society, we should open our mind to accept the diversity in this world.

For example , McDonalization provids only a few choices for people which may be regarded a economic and time -saving way; however, in reality, there must be more choices than that.
